Upcoming North Texas LID Event:

The North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) is hosting a workshop titled "Low Impact Development in North Texas using iSWM" The workshop will demonstrate the feasibility of achieving Low Impact Development (LID) site designs through the tools and techniques found in the integrated Stromwater Management (iSWM™) Manuals. Learn about the collaborative process used to create a LID site plan and teh economic, environmental, and aesthetic benefits of LID/iSWM design. At the conclusion of the workshop, attendees will have the opportunity to attend an optional tour of the nearby Green at College Park, an extensive LID stormwater management feature and urban oasis certifed by the Sustainable Sites Initiative™ (SITES).
